Revision
I review the work of another translator, putting myself in the shoes of the end reader, and make any changes I deem necessary to ensure, for example, that the source text's meaning is preserved or that the translation is adapted to the target cultural context.
Proofreading
I correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation in French content.
MTPE
Unlike revision, this involves reviewing a computer-generated translation that you provide and adapting it to achieve a natural French style. Depending on the quality of the initial translation, it is sometimes necessary to rewrite certain segments entirely.
The base price ( 60€) is for 500 words, that is 0.10 euros per word.

Passionné de langues étrangères, j'ai décidé de devenir traducteur après plus de 20 années de carrière dans les technologies de l’information. Je suis pour le moment généraliste mais l'environnement (plus précisément le changement climatique) serait pour moi le domaine de spécialité idéal. J'ai vécu plus de 40 ans en France Métropolitaine avant de m'installer en Martinique (fuseau UTC-4, proche du continent américain). J'y exerce en micro-entreprise, j'utilise uniquement des outils professionnels et je garantis une confidentialité totale. Niveau en langues : Anglais (UK et US) : j'atteste d'une très bonne maîtrise, avec un résultat au TOEIC Listening & Reading de 965/990 équivalent au niveau C1 du CECRL. J'ai pratiqué cette langue lors de voyages dans le monde entier. Portugais (BR et PT) : le portugais est la langue de mes parents, je me suis donc familiarisé avec dès l'enfance.
